Description
View of the Lion's Well of Lowenbrunnen that sits in the square in front of the University Museum in Heidelberg, Germany. The square was built over a ruined monastery and this was where the people would come to get their water for every day living. The lion was a symbol of power for the Palatine Electorate of Heidelberg and is featured in the flag of Heidelberg still.
